ABOUT YOU
'House of Iris' is intended for people who do not quite find what they are looking for within regular care. This can be for both physical or mental complaints.
In my general practice I see that certain complaints are very common, which in my opinion require a broader view and more time to really be able to resolve them together. Medical examinations do not show any abnormalities for many 'harmless' complaints, but that does not mean that the complaints have disappeared.
EXPLORING PHYSICAL COMPLAINTS TOGETHER
Examples:
-
Fatigue
-
Stomach/bowel problems
-
Injuries or inflammations that do not resolve
In the case of physical complaints, I want to be there for people who want to investigate where their complaints come from if there seems to be no clear answer. By this I mean that together we look more broadly at where the complaints come from and why they do not want to be resolved. And that we also have enough time for this. In this practice I will not perform any medical examinations (like blood tests).
EXPLORING MENTAL COMPLAINTS TOGETHER
Examples:
-
Feeling down or depressed
-
Anxiety or tension
-
Sleep problems

In the case of mental complaints I also think it is important to look at the body first. By working with your body you can have a lot of influence on mental complaints. For example, if you’re continuously sleeping badly or are very tense, psychological counseling often doesn’t solve that. We need to work on the body first, bringing it back into a more relaxed ‘resting state’. When the body is more balanced, it often becomes clearer what is mentally going on and what underlying patterns are existing. Now you can become aware of these patterns and make different choices.
HOUSE OF IRIS IS AN ADDITION TO REGULAR CARE
